Still working to bring lows up a bit, reduce highs

With the first reading this morning, 18 May 2010 quite high, I was tempted to increase the insulin dose again. (No! don't!) Then the midafternoon readings ran higher than they've been running the last few days. Again I thought of raising the insulin dose.

Gosh, Carol! MAKE UP YOUR MIND! What IS it you want?

Yes, Doctor Vekkie. Well, I want Kumbi's glucose levels to be perfect.

Pardon me while I laugh in your face, Carol.

Okay, Doctor Vekkie. I forgive you!

It IS quite amusing, don't you think so, Kumbi?

Mummy - it is NOT amusing when you prick me so often!

You're right, Kumbi. I commend you for your tolerance. You really earned your Patient's Hat.

Updates will follow. Of course!

CLAIMER: Content here results from my personal experience, as instructed by my fabulous veterinarians and veterinary technicians, and also, as instructed by Kumbi. Even Kwali gets a word in edgewise. We use the Lip-Stick. There are other locations you can prick for blood; I do not myself use them, but there are web resources that show them.
