Ready to warm the insulin!

Insulin Away!

Put the vial back in the fridge!

Second Revision, Sunday, 18 January 2009; 07:45

Dose good; put insulin back in fridge

[cwj09-ready2warm.jpg] Ready to warm insulin! Put vial back in fridge!

Put the insulin away; put the cap on the needle!

Once I have the dose right, very carefully, I replace the cap over the needle and push it to, so it won't fall off, as there's a bit of a latch to hold it in place. I lay the assembly down in the saucer again while putting the insulin away.

Now I'm ready to take the step that assures a painless injection: warm the dose of insulin BEYOND - WELL BEYOND - room temperature!

INSULIN INJECTIONS. Injection time is sacrosanct time. Double-check your dose. When in doubt, check with your veterinarian. Dispose of hazardous waste safely. Insulin is extremely powerful stuff, and your dog or cat depends on you to pay attention when you inject.
